	3 blade prop, but the 4 is so smooth I hate to change."
Updated 6/28/02...	"Picked up a 24" Raker for a backup & tried it the other day.
	Managed 76 mph but was spinning 6100 rpm, so I'm having it
	double cupped to drop it a couple hundred r's. Definitely more
	bow lift with the 3 blade if that's what you want, but also
	chine walks more, so cool it. Hydraulic steering makes it a lot
	easier to handle. More when I get the prop back."

	space but wished I had a little more front deck space. Javelin
	could have sacrificed a little console for more deck space.
	All in all very satisfied! Installing DualPro charger soon.
	Any comments on setup, i.e., jackplate, prop, etc., would be
	greatly appreciated. This motor is so quiet, conversations are
	possible at 60 mph ! "

	on me past that point. This speed is with two guys with gear
	and 3/4 tank of fuel. The more weight I have in the back end
	the better it runs. I leave water in the livewells and it seems
	to help. I'd like to pick up 3-4 more mph and I believe it has
	it if I get it dialed in right. The ride otherwise is outstanding in
	smooth or rough water. Any ideas for helping me with the

	"Gentlemen, please be aware that OMC was putting spark
	plugs in new engines that were way too hot, and they knew it
	was causing engine failure but continued doing so to increase
	engine performance. An OMC mechanic told me this, a year
	after mine blew at 65 hours. My '99 powerhead is less power-
	ful but it is now dependable. I no longer run at 6200 rpm at 79
	mph fully loaded but I'm ok with 75 mph and no breakdowns.
	Please be careful about running QL82YC spark plugs, they are
	too hot, need to run QL78YC (Champion marine plugs).
	I'm looking to get some of my speed back with maybe trying a
	26" Raker prop. The 4 blade 25" Renegade I have always ran
	may be costing me a little top end. On the brighter side, I can't
	say enough about my Javelin, I love it. My friends and family
	gripe because I keep it so clean, but my 5 year old boat has
	been on the water countless hours and it still looks like the day
	I bought it, and their boats are filthy and falling apart at 1 or 2
	years old."
